Fundraising Raffle at #LIANZA11

Congratulations to Lucy Brunwin from Tasman District Libraries who was the lucky winner of the Android netbook, in the “Travel Light This Summer With Library Ebooks” raffle held at LIANZA Conference.
Well done too to Jackie McMillan from Dunedin and Alison Gordon from Waipa who both also picked up an mp3 player in our ‘lucky loser’ draw.

The raffle generated plenty of interest in the tour, as did the bright pink tshirts sported by ticket sellers Sally, Helen and Paul. The proceeds ($1000) will go towards getting the show on the road as it were.
Big thanks to Don Hill of d-shop for his generous donation of the Android netbook; Mike Shontz from OverDrive for the mp3 players; and the Association of Public Library Managers (APLM) for the raffle organisation.
